Two Week Hiatus and a Con Report

Well, I haven't been very active lately anyway...despite the fact that I still have tons of Colorado pictures that haven't made it up. XD I might try to put some up today, who knows. I have to find free time between the packing. Yes, I said packing. I'm going to be gone for the next two weeks, starting tomorrow. However, I'm not just going anywhere, I'm going to Europe. More specifically, I'm spending a week in Germany and then a week in England. WHOO! I haven't been to Europe since the trip with my high school band to the Czech Republic...Oh lord...That was almost six years ago...I feel old now. XD Anyway, I plan to take tons of pictures, so there will probably be an explosion in my gallery once I get back.

Another thing I'd like to mention is that once again and I are signing up for Natsucon ( www.natsucon.org/ ) in St. Louis...Well, technically it's in Collinsville, IL this year. They moved to the Gateway Center like Anime STL. It's August 12-14. We've sent in our application for an artist table and now we have to wait until we hear from them, so we're not officially in the Artist Alley, but hopefully we will be. The applications just opened today, so we got it in really early, which gives us a better chance of getting a table.

As to projects for the con, I have a vague list that includes chocobos, pokemon, and maybe an actual character figurine or two. I hear the popular thing right now are Eevee and its evolutions so I'll make a couple sets of those. I'll also make the starter pokemon from Black and White. I'll start working on a more detailed list when I get back, but if any of you have suggestions, feel free to offer them. I may or may not attempt some fanart bookmarks and some accessory props. It really depends on what I feel comfortable asking money for. XD

...The mood icon hysterical depicts my conflicting emotions perfectly. Part of me is completely freaking out while another part of me is just like: "Relax. It'll be fine. *sigh*"

Anyway, time to get back to work.
